The villa, the restaurant, the pillows 🤩
I didn’t like the excursions very much. The snorkeling was ok, but the safari was dangerous at times and too commercial. The whale watching with Quentin and Maeva wasn’t at all what we expected.

Excellent location ! Superb snorkelling just off beach . Great dive centre ! Do the underwater scooter ! Unbelievable! Accommodation excellent . We went for the beach huts . Loved it . Great bar ! Very helpful concierge who sorted our flights for Bora Bora .
Well on our first night went for Buffett with Polynesian show . Terrible food and expensive . On the whole food could be better , even the crepes had been pre down 15 min before and kept warm , but superb burger ! Also the turndown service , was a bit of a joke when they came at 5.30 and as you were probably getting ready for dinner would give you a card saying goodnight and give you 2 tea bags of camomile tea . Why bother !

Location is unbeatable, staff amazing, facilities outstanding. Honestly you would regret booking anywhere else. By far the best place to stay on the island. The whole experience is incredible.

The hotel is located nicely with breathtaking views of both the coral and the mountain. Also, the rooms are quite spacious. We booked a room with beach view for 2 adults and 1 kid. More than enough space.
Also, the beds were comfy. Moreover, we really enjoyed K Fine Dining restaurant with the complete tasting and wine pairing experience. Unfortunately, the menu does not change throughout the season so it doesn't make much sense to eat here more than two times.
First of all, this hotel seems to not understand online communication. While we made our reservation through booking, it was impossible for us to contact them over chat. To make things even worse, phone communication does not work much better with the personnel from here. Our concierge from Bora Bora called the Sofitel to make sure someone will pick us up from the airport. They confirmed but they totally forgot us in the airport.
Second disappointment came from the activity representative. We explicitly told him we prefer to pay by card. All the taxi arrangements were only accepting cash :(. Except the taxis, we received a recommendation for a 4x4 Island tour. The sightseeing was great but our guide was a complete disaster: she was 20 mins late to pick us up, didn't explain much about anything and she was pretty sour.
Third disappointment was the buffet restaurant. This is extremely mediocre and for a party of 2 adults and 1 child it will cost as much as K Fine Dinning. Avoid the buffet restaurant as much as possible.
