The host was friendly and responsive in communication, which I appreciated. However, the stay had several significant issues that affected comfort and value for money.
There was no hot water for about a week, and the internet did not work for two days and was very spotty throughout my stay. These are basic amenities that should be reliable. The apartment also has humidity issues, including some mold, and requires regular ventilation, which can be uncomfortable due to temperature and insects.
Cleanliness and maintenance could be improved. The floors were often dirty, and some cleaning practices and tools seemed inadequate. Additionally, parts of the property (such as terrace furniture) are more worn than shown in the photos.
There were also some comfort issues, including noise from doors/windows in the wind and a delayed repair when a window broke.
Overall, while communication was good, the level of maintenance and reliability did not match the price paid.
