Horrible, never again

The property is very old, not kept well. Service at checking out and getting luggage from the room took almost 40 mins. The buffer at night (inly restaurant open when we arrived) was terrible and extremely expensive for what we got. Will never visit an Intercontinental again anywhere in the world. The brand is old and not keeping up with times

The hotel room was ancient and needs to remodel yesterday. The buffet was terrible

Amazing hotel!

One of the nicest hotels I've ever been to. Very beautiful, large, clean territory, the staff is incredibly friendly! We booked half-board and were upgraded to full board. Since the territory is large, there is no crowd anywhere, sometimes it felt like the whole beach was just for us! Breakfasts, lunches and dinners were very tasty. Also, the atmosphere at the bar is pleasant, there were always some kind of shows, music or dances there in the evenings. The room is very spacious, nice and clean, we really liked it. We will recommend this hotel to everyone. Thank you for a wonderful vacation!

Nous avons tous aimé, le personnel est très humain, toujours la pour nous, à trouver des solutions, à échanger avec eux, partager un moment, se sentir comme à la maison. Un établissement magnifique, belle plage, beau lieu, beaucoup de réception, une propreté comme jamais vu ailleurs, un cadre idyllique ! Tout pour faire rêver et avoir l'envie de revenir !! Beaucoup d'activités sont proposés par l'hôtel, à des bons prix avec toujours des solutions pour rendre les moments inoubliables ! Un Noël magique et l'un des plus beaux sous 35°C

Great family vacation at a good resort in an excellent location.

well maintained beach, rocky mostly but very picturesque and landscaping did justice to the overall landscape available. excellent entertainment in the evenings - live band and singing. good breakfast. wifi was good across the property. as we checked out extremely early and could not have the breakfast, a small packet was prepacked for us, which was a nice gesture.

ants in the room and hair in the bathtub when we checked in - was pointed out to room service and front desk.

Great ambience, excellent food and wonderful people

Our Stay at Intercontinental was incredible and we loved each moment we spent at the resort. The food was excellent, the staff were so attentive to our needs, a special thanks Mr Ishrat for making us feel really comfortable.

The reception mixed up my room numbers when I checked in which made it confusing for payments as it showed a different name on the system.

Pretty but amenities far below the average hotel.

The hotel was very pretty with great landscaping and clean shores.

Food options were extremely limited and hard to get reservations at. Food generally across all restaurants were just OK with extremely slow (and often absent) service. Cleaning service didn’t arrive until 9pm one night. Reef near the resort is pretty much dead and leaves much to be desired. WiFi was spotty and extremely slow.

Exceptional

From the management to the bar team, water sports (once cyclone passed) through to the chefs, all excellent and looking to please you in any way. The gentle nature of the Mauritians could do no harm. Loved every minute.

The view was nice but other than that did not have the best experience

Booked the presidential suite which was not ready for our arrival the 1st night. There were cockroaches in the rooms. Our in room dining service always went to the wrong room as the phoneline was registered under a different room. The net curtains were broken and not fixed during our stay. Despite us reporting the above they were not addressed during the stay.

the property is very nice. could do with more deckchairs as not enough for the guests.

food was average. nearly all the staff in all departments need training on how to give good customer service. it lets the Intercontinental brand down

we love our stay in the resort. definitely worth the price especially in comparison to neighboring resorts.

the restaurant staff- they are the best, like all of them. We have the best experience, special shoutout to Vimla, she‘s the best! and also to the Pastry Chef/manager(?). i forgot his name. But he surprised me with a slice of my favorite cake from the resort. the food- we like the food variety here. my husband is a vegetarian and he had so many options. And we also love their pastries. They were delicious! the room- i like how the room is set up. It gives a sort of holding place, before the bed area. the pool- it was an experience watching the sunset while we were in the pool. the location- sunset location, such a beautiful view of the sunset.

the front office- omg they were sooooooo slow. we waited a loooooong time to be checked-in. We kept on asking them for updates because it was like we were disregarded after we filled out the check-in forms. Even check-out was slow as well! Terrible experience!

Heated pools was really good! The buffet is awesome.

The check-in process is a bit longer than expected. We understand that we asked for an upgrade, but I think the staff did not know if our room was ready or not which lead to many, really many "wait a minute, we check something".

Fantastic stay - highly recommend

Lovely hotel, food and great staff. Beach and pools well maintained and the lobby is truly stunning. Food and drinks were also good value for money. Also worth noting that the hotel has some complimentary water activities - we did the glass bottomed boat one morning which was fabulous.

Make sure you book the restaurants well in advance as they do get booked out more than 24hrs before. It would also been helpful to have some further information about the restaurants and what was on offer at the beginning of our stay as many of them do a la carte breakfast which is better value than the buffet and in a nicer setting. I also think the hotel should consider going cashless as a couple of times when we paid by cash it was a long process to get change.

the feather pillow wasn’t comfortable, there should be a variety for the guest.. and the AC had some problems that I could adjust it.
