Dar Bensouda exceeded our expectations in every way. The building itself was absolutely stunning. It felt like sleeping in a museum. Wonderfully peaceful, despite the fat that there were quite a few guests when we stayed. The food was truly delicious. The staff were very helpful and organised our transfers and guide for us, which was brilliant. We loved our stay and only wished we could have stayed longer. We will definitely be back!
There was nothing we didn't like about Dar Bensouda.

The staff is exceptional. They recommend a parking and sent a guy to help with the luggage and the way to the hotel. They gave us precautions about the Medina (old town).
The hotel has a spacious patio with a swimming pool. The room was big, the air conditioning was working well, the shower and all the stuff also.
It’s not about the hotel, it’s about Medina (old town) in general. Be careful, there are a lot of people who will say “no way, brother” at any place, but obviously there will be the street. Don’t talk with them, they want your money for “guidance”.
Also, in the evening it feels unsafe to walk through Medina.

It was incredible to stay in such a beautifully restored building.
The hammam and massage were wonderful experiences and so nice to have on the property.
Breakfast was fine, although the choice of breads and pastries was a bit excessive.

We really liked the ambience and the breakfast. The swimming pool was great, and the staff were very nice, friendly, and helpful.
We were disappointed that there was no minibar or rubbish bin in the room.
Also, from the second day onwards, the bed sheets were not changed. We expected better housekeeping service during our stay.
