The Sea Hotel

Very good value for money and well positioned only a short walk into town.

Location fantastic, so near to a beautiful beach ! So near to town and the bus station to all areas of the North East. A great family fun park opposite our hotel . All couldn’t be better . The staff are so friendly and helpful, the young receptionist carried my bags up and down the stairs for me , couldn’t ask for more .

All the staff was so friendly but in particular the man on reception upon checking us in and out. Could not do enough to help, so friendly as we arrived and made my daughter who's 9th birthday it was feel like a Princess, so amazing. Night time reception man was amazing too, getting us cold ice water etc... when bar was shut. Location us just perfect, right next to fair and beach. Amazing breakfast, man on reception recommended the loaded hash browns and they didn't disappoint. My eldest daughter is celiac and they had a good range for her, for breakfast. Would definitely recommend and stay again

Nothing we loved it all

Car parking was OK, staff were friendly.

Bar closing at 10 pm at a hotel you are paying to stay in is not acceptable. Hotel has seen better days, it's a bit tired looking. I did only pay for single rooms, but they were on the small size and the bed had a very uncomfortably thin mattress. On the pus side, the water pressure was very good in the bathroom. Room was badly decorated. The rooms were on the side of the hotel that faced the main road and the park, but I did not find noise an issue.
