Lovely old hotel in the centre of Tewkesbury, staff were friendly and service at breakfast and dinner was very good, the food was also good, a small menu executed very well which is far better than a large menu being mediocre, nice cosy restaurant area, really enjoyed it.
Bedroom was very small and my husband had to duck to get inside the door! Not really a complaint as it is a very old hotel.

The overall location is good. Room was comfortable with good facilities, although coffee machine leaked and tv reception poor. During heatwave so good that 2 fans provided.
I booked the hotel online and it wasn't actually the one I thought I'd booked!!
Reception area very poor and lift would have been beneficial, especially as directed up narrow old stairs when main staircase also went to our room.
Stair carpets needed cleaning.
Unfortunately room on main street and very noisy.
