Lovely place. Near the city center within walking distance of many restaurants and bars. Comfortable silent clean rooms with good beds. Bathroom was very modern and clean. Very nice complete breakfast. With many choices. Staff was very friendly.
Shower did not have a lot of pressure. Bit warm in the entire hotel and did not get the impression the aircon in my room was working properly. Really poor (powder) coffee during breakfast?? For an hotel of this stature you would expect a machine that has fresh ground beans.

Really nice hotel and the decor is lovely. It's in a great location too
Friendly staff in the reception and bar areas
The food is really good too
Unfortunately, the shower was rubbish. No power to it at all, however, we have stopped there before in a different room, which was fine and we have made the staff aware

Very spacious room, lovely en-suite, good food.
Cobwebs and dust in the room, quite noisy, no parking and the recommended parking space cost us £20 for overnight parking and we had to walk our luggage over the bridge to get back to the hotel. We stayed here on our wedding night a few years ago and it was amazing (just in a normal room) so we were very disappointed by the difference and lack of cleanliness this time.

The staff
Breakfast, indifferent greeting, stone cold plates, half cooked sausages, nasty tasteless scrambled egg, soggy/steamed hash browns, nice bacon, beans, mushrooms, poorly laid out, but nice dining room.
