Lovely Hotel and my room was huge and very nice.
Breakfast waiter was absent for quite a while whenI arrived for breakfast so took longer than it should to order my breakfast choice but when it came it was good quality and very nice.

We were in the main block so it was interesting to explore - there could have been more information about its history. The room was basic but that is what we had booked
It was very hot and there was no air con in the room but staff kindly let us sit in the conservatory which did have it. THe hotel couldn't help it being the hottest day of the year!

I stayed in one of the cottage rooms which are in a separate building.
They are a little dated , but perfectly clean and tidy.
I ate dinner and breakfast on all 3 days and cannot fault it.
Plus the beer is good and the staff friendly,
It’s clearly privately owned and not part of a chain
Nothing really, if you stay in the cottage please close the outer door carefully and don’t let it slam.

Hotel and rooms were very dated. Very few staff on duty and those that were around were not very helpful.
