The hotel was ok but not very help regarding issue with tv and the room was very dated

The location

Dated and the tv in our room didn’t work and we couldn’t get another because the maintainace man had left for the day, not good when you have 2 children.

Loved it

Breakfast was really good good choice hotel rooms were lovely and clean

The rooms were so hot we had to push windows in room and bathroom up couldt turn radiator off no need for the heat

Pleasant surprise on value room

Location and friendly staff and value for money with room ( maybe the bathroom could do with updating that’s all )

It’s wasn’t so much a dislike - we paid £49 for the room So we got value for money but the bathroom was very dated and the bath had a massive crack down the side It wasn’t a planned stay - ww came for the day and the weather was lovely, we sat down to eat and I just browsed hotels and yours came up with a room price we couldn’t refuse

It was ok will definitely look at other places

There was work going on in the hotel drilling and hammer bangs woke us up very early, couldn’t control the heating

Moved to a better bedroom on the first floor, bigger bed and a thicker mattress Had a good night. sl

The first bedroom was poor . The bed was too small and the mattress was poor quality only 6 in. thick. had a bad nights sleep.

Had a great stay will book again.

The location is really good and our view was lovely.

Was good to see that the hotel was being refurbished in certain areas.

Location was great. Parking was difficult in the limited car park so we did not use our car once we arrived. No hot water for shower in the morning. Apparently boiler had broken and was fixed around lunch time. Would have been a nightmare if we had needed a shower first thing. We were going to a party in the afternoon so had a shower when boiler was fixed. We didn't eat in the restaurant so can't comment on the food.

Bedroom was lovely and large over looking the prom, but furniture was tired and net curtains were dirty. Also, apparently because of Covid our room wasn't cleaned and no more tea and coffee supplies were given.

Nothing the hotel never had rooms available said that there was a problem with booking. Com so please refund me money that you have taken or I will never use booking. Com again expect my refund ASAP very upset 😡 Mr p conquer

Nothing oh the 2 hours it took us to find other accommodation that was the highlight of our trip thank you booking. Com is

Good

Room was hot and couldn't open the window, but otherwise was clean and spacious. Coffee and milk topped up on request.

Needs updating , no food served had to order of just eat to room , no pool we took kids with us and we’re looking forward to a swim 🙁 .. windows but leaky but had bad rain … leaks in main reception due to rain

Very good

Rooms very clean and comfortable.

No restaurant and only a small bar with limited seating available. For such a big hotel not to have all facilities open was a shame.

Very good

Although dated the hotel was very comfortable and clean. Located a few minutes from Lord St so central to shops. There was a good selection of hot or cold food for breakfast. There was a choice of around 3 dishes for the evening meal. They were well cooked and always hot. Staff were very friendly. There was a large lounge with comfortable sofas and wonderful large windows for watching the world go by.

For the price we paid there was nothing we didn't like

Our three night stay cost £542 which was really overpriced for the standard of the hotel.

Location was great - near to the shops and the lovely promenade park. Plenty of tea and coffee in the room. Lovely view from our window; looking out to sea.

Evening meal was appalling: poor quality, frozen fish with oven chips. My partner had beef in black bean sauce and rice; the beef was in cubes and looked like dog meat! Breakfast consisted of low grade sausage and bacon. We had a dog and had to eat in the bar which wasn’t set up for meals. By the time we’d run backwards and forwards collecting our food, cuttlery, tea, toast, orange juice etc, our food was cold! We received no assistance from the staff although very few people were actually staying at the hotel.

Nice hotel, great location and was at a very reasonable price. Receptionist very friendly.

The room wasn't a bad size the view wasn't very good the room looked out onto a brick wall. Hotel is in an ideal location, not to far away from everything, but far enough away to get a decent nights' sleep away from the bars.

Ok hotel in a nice location. If a bit cheaper, I would use it as a base again.

The location was really good. Close to all attractions. The room was clean.

No parking available. Other guests complaining in the lobby when we arrived. One woman crying. Shower door wouldn't close. Unable to turn down the radiator and the room was very hot

The location is fantastic. Friendly staff parking on site and clean. Always had great rooms. Lots of space to relax

The hotel outside could do with freshening up. It's looking tired. Some of the rooms We have previously stayed in the cold air comes through the windows because they are old. It's looking a bit run down in some places..

OK for one night but would probably upgrade to a better room for a longer stay.

Staff responses were good. Food and drinks (dinner and breakfast) were fine for us. Room was quiet and bed was comfortable. Hotel was clean, although decor was somewhat "tired". Value for money.

Would have preferred not having to go to their sister hotel (The Prince of Wales) for our evening meal.
