Pleasant, but could have been much better.

Dinner was very good, but dessert (pannacotta) was bad, breakfast was ok, service not great.

Had to move rooms as when arrived it was very cold, then afterwards there was a smell, due to a leaking radiator. Ground floor bar and restaurant was very nice but the hotel part felt dated.

Stylish, warm and welcoming.

Stylish and warm with a real family feel. The rooms were beautifully decorated, warm and the beds were so comfortable. The staff were lovely and in particular Joe who didn't miss a beat when we arrived late to check in (he was in the middle of serving a full restaurant) Joe was back on hand to take our order and serve breakfast with the same polite enthusiasm he showed the evening before.

A great hotel in a great location.

The room was beautifully furnished, clean and quiet, with a lovely view of the Malvern Hills. The bed was comfortable. Breakfast was delicious, quality products and well-cooked food.

painting work on windows/ repairs going on while we were in the room. it feels strange when someone standing and looking through windows while you are in the room

Perfect location for going walking in the Malverns. If that is your main purpose, this location was amazing. A great retreat for a short getaway.

Dreadful hotel

Very average hotel, food and drinks too expensive and poor service.

Fire alarms kept going off in the night got no sleep

Fantastic!

Location of this hotel is great. There are wonderful walks easily accessible from this place. Our stay was comfortable. Breakfast and dinner was good. Staff was nice.

Window in our room was not secure/ safe. This was reported and hopefully the hotel will take the appropriate action.

I usually love staying there but this time I was too cold to enjoy it

I was cold all the time. I wore 3 layers at the breakfast table but the worst part was my cold bedroom

wonderful and we will go back however I don’t think the kitchen had their ‘best night’. the reviews of the food are amazing but we didn’t think the Turkey toast dinner lived up to the normal night standards we have read about.

lovely weekend in a perfect location

location was great, and the food was very good. The room was a good size, clean and nicely decorated.

unfortunately, the Wi-Fi was very poor, this was a BT problem not the hotel.

Lovely hotel with great staff just poor manager

Room was lovely and so were all the staff except for the manager Matthew. We went down for dinner and were placed on a table where the lamp above me was shining in my eyes. My partner tilted it the other way (the lamp is built in a way so that it can be tilted) Matthew the manager saw and from the bar shouted at the top of his his voice "DONT DO THAT IF YOU DO THAT IT WILL BREAK THEY ARE NOT DESIGNED TO TILT!") There are ways to speak to people and Matthew was not at all proffessional. This ruined our whole evening and I felt he kept glaring at us everytime he walked past. I would return but only if the manager Matthew was replaced by someone who knows how to treat customers.
