Stunning location. All the staff were lovely - really friendly and welcoming. Service overall was excellent. The room was very clean and well equipped. Breakfast was a real highlight! Lovely quality ingredients and something for everyone.

Very pretty building.
Comfortable rooms
There was scaffolding up at the time and some works going on. Would have liked a spa or pool area

Lovely location and views and the small details such as blankets and suncream for outside, birthday sweet treat in the room, a fan (as no air con) and hairdryer and steamer
The afternoon tea arrived 45mins after booking time and minimal choice for vegetarian.
I requested the beds be moved apart to make a twin room which staff agreed to do whilst having afternoon tea but it didn’t happen (I ended up doing it myself).
Lots of staff grouped together in bar/restaurant and when you walked through they all stared at you and stopped talking.
