We were late for breakfast, but the the lady at the reception l have forgotten her name, she made a plan for us, we were served full English breakfast, it was outstanding and we really appreciated. Check in and check out was 13/10, Rooms were clean and comfortable and with a stunning view.

Location was very quiet. The weather was hot so I had the windows open. My room looked out onto the outside bar seating and some of the people only knew hot to talk very loudly / shout so it made going to sleep challenging. Room was more than large for 1 person and very clean.
The mattress was OK but had seen better days

The setting was lovely, the building is obviously very old which we did like when booking. We enjoyed sitting outside and the staff were all extremely helpful and friendly. The parking was plentiful and a very reasonable price.
The room and hallways of the hotel are in serious need of an upgrade. The upholstery, carpets and curtains were dusty and scratchy. The bathroom was very old and the taps and shower were hard to use. There was staining in the bath and mould on the tile grout as well as peeling paint.
