The breakfast was excellent but spoiled by the bacon.

We loved the location, the historic building and furnishings, the welcome and comfy room. The restaurant was good with excellent food.

We liked everything but felt that both the room and restaurant were over the top expensive

Initially presents nicely but the room was tired and was woken when someone in a nearby room ran a tap. Staff were unfriendly at best rude at worse. One of the most expensive hotels I’ve stayed at but worse quality
