Great looking place in perfect location, easy access, ample parking, well maintained exterior and gardens, nicely decorated with attention to detail and clean. Rooms are huge, plenty of hanging (and hangers) and drawer space, large bathroom with bath and shower cubicle. Food was super and quickly served both at breakfast and evening meal. Front desk staff welcoming, professional and efficient. Restaurant waiting staff very efficient. Lounge and bar areas beautifully decorated and comfortable.

Restaurant waiting staff were professional and efficient but not particularly friendly, no smiling. Some of the internal fixtures in the bedroom are getting tired, probably not updated since our previous visit 10 years ago - the carpet is heavily marked, the shower enclosure is rusting, none of the windows shut, the mattress was very hard so although not lumpy was uncomfortable.

The breakfast was great, the room was good too. Just a lovely atmosphere!

The was very little parking behind the Maple room where we stayed. Someone straddled 2 parks and forced us to park out front. Annoying, but staff gave us permission to park out front.
