Dinner was very good, I enjoyed a tomato salad with cheese - then had garlic prawns with chips - along side a nice glass of Malbec. The prawns were delicious and nicely presented.
In the morning I ordered a pot of tea with the full English Breakfast, it was piping hot, and well presented and cooked well.
I booked to eat in the restaurant at 7.30. I arrived at 7.20 and informed that the restaurant was full, so as an alternative would I mind eating in the bar area - which wasn't a disaster, but... it was not what I expected.

Super breakfast included in the exceptional price.
We stayed for 1 night on a Sunday. Bargain
Nothing to dislike at the hotel but we did find it was tucked away and we got lost.
Study the map. The lanes are confusing even with Satnav

The hotel experience is nice, we were returning because we enjoyed our previous stay. The restaurant is really very good, and the service also.
The room and the bathroom were a bit of a let down for the price when comparing our previous stay. There was a wedding celebration on, so we were maybe a bit de-prioritised, but the bathroom in particular was disappointing with a partially blocked sink and a shower tray that led some of the water onto the bathroom floor.

Very scenic
Noisy during the night. Room was cold and in need of updating. Smell outside when leaving was very offensive, like rotting chicken
