Accepting the offer o of breakfast in bed was a mistake. What came was a somewhat inelegant collection of the items and no toast/bread butter and maramadler RFinally it was only when I checked out I learned there was an additional charge of £4.40. Anyway q
uite apart from that the presentation of a full breakfast in the restaurant was fine. For the Continental breakfast the overall impression was an air or 'cheeseparing' Cereal bowls smaller and I have ever seen Croissants half the normal size no marmalade. . However perhaps I might have ignored all that but for the supper on Sunday night. The food was everything from poor to inedible. and extraordinarily expensive. My mimpression was everything came as a defrosted heazted dish. EGn the lasagnes was unbelievably unlike a lasagne dish.
Hence my overall rating for an otherwise excellent hotel.

The fried eggs were rubbery and overcooked. The bacon was very hard and like leather. The mushrooms were undercooked. The croissants were cold, not warm.
