We had a wonderful stay at Hildesheim Guest Lodge! The owners were very welcoming and provided great local advice. The setting is very peaceful and a quick drive to many destinations. The kitchen was fully stocked, the grounds were perfect, and the beds very comfortable. We also appreciated the two space heaters and thick blankets since we visited in the winter. We highly recommend Hildesheim Guest Lodge!

A comfy and snug environment, tucked away in the forrest. We were lucky enough to even hear the river after the heavy rains. The view is spectacular to point it looks straight off a painting. The host was kind and inviting, making us feel right at home despite the fact we were late. Steve and his people do exceptional work maintaining and cleaning the premises and creating a sense of belonging and tranquility in his lodgings.
Freezing cold in winter, but it is completely understandable considering we went during rainy season, and to add onto that it has been freakish weather. The blankets feel small for the bed, but it could be because we were to big people in it.
