Maistra Select Astarea Hotel

The staff was very courteous and helpful. Both breakfast and dinner had lots of options. Beautiful view from balcony.

The hotel and it's annexe building are both impressive. They make you feel comfortable and welcome there. Rooms very comfortable and clean. Stocked with fruit and coffee. Spa facilities included are really good, Sauna and steam room were used everyday by us. Nice area to walk around. Not super busy, so bare that in mind. Breakfast and evening buffets both very good. A enough options. Desserts in particular were very nice. Parking is great if you have a car, also very easy to get to and from the hotel to the rest of this area. Staff very friendly. I would ask them for a decaf coffee in the morning, and although it want in the buffet, they would go to the bar and bring back a decaf espresso. I want them to know I really appreciate this, as I like coffee but can no longer consume caffeine. Complementary items were offered: Parking, A free a la carte lunch (which was absolutely amazing), and a sparkling wine.

The setup where no soft drinks are included during evening meal is a bit bizarre. It's holding the hotel back in my opinion, it seems to be a talking point amongst all guests. At least just have some lemonade on tap! We all know you're trying to make money on the drinks, but this is too annoying. Should have decaf in the buffet. Also no maple syrup for pancakes. Sparking wine voucher at the bar: I know it's complimentary, but you could've let me have sparkling water instead as I'm non alcoholic. I didn't want orange juice!

Lovely location with nice walks along the front and water taxis to Cavtat and Dubrovnik available. The pool area and beach were both good and staff very friendly. Great breakfast and standard double nice room on 4 th floor with side sea view. Bar and restaurant on the harbour was lovely and superb entertainment in hotel beach bar on Tuesday night.

Nothing

Loved the room, view, facilities and staff. Wonderful service from Goranna and Jaka in one of the hotel resturants (a short walk away from main hotel)

It was expensive to eat and drink in the hotel bars and restaurants
