Hotel Podstine

I liked the little bay that the hotel was in, which had the sun on it all day and had a fabulous sunset. The room was a good size, although was a little basic. The breakfast was fairly decent. Malica & Majia (bar staff) were absolutely wonderful. They were so friendly and credit to the hotel.

Without doubt the number 1 thing that I didn’t like was the price of the beer. For me €10.60 for 0.5L was extortionate! For that reason alone i never ate at the restaurant, apart from the breakfast, which was included in the price anyway. The sun loungers were also very old, and some were broken and were very uncomfortable to sit in all day. The hotel was a 20 minute walk into town, which I personally enjoyed, but if you were old and not so fit would be too much for some.

The reception area and outdoor area were beautiful. Common areas were clean and pretty. Great breakfast for the price and lovely view while eating breakfast. Pool was small, but beautiful and we were in the Sea anyways. It WAS walking distance to the main nightlife, but about 25 minutes.

The bathroom was so so small. We played Tetris brushing our teeth. And just....old. There were no lights in the room, super dark. For the price, the bedroom/bathroom were not up to my expectation and for that reason I would not go back to this hotel. Because the rooms were small, the 6 of us (2 per room) were chatting in the main lobby o their chairs and we were yelled at at 11pm by the man receptionist. Told us it was 11pm and we had to go to bed. We are 40 years old.
