Sofitel Al Khobar The Corniche delivered exactly what I expect from the Sofitel brand. The location on the Corniche is excellent, with beautiful sea views and easy access to restaurants and cafés. The hotel feels elegant from the moment you walk into the lobby, and the service throughout my stay was consistently warm, professional and efficient.
The room was spacious, immaculately clean and very comfortable, with a great bed and quality amenities. Housekeeping maintained a very high standard, and the overall atmosphere was calm and relaxing. Breakfast offered a wide variety of fresh, high-quality options, and every member of staff I interacted with made me feel genuinely welcome. It’s a hotel I’d happily return to whenever I’m in Al Khobar.
There wasn’t anything that significantly affected my stay. If I had one suggestion, it would be to modernise a few areas of the rooms to match the elegance of the lobby and public spaces, but overall the experience was excellent.

Cleanliness, location and the front office staff were all very good.
The bed was not comfortable and felt a bit outdated. The Valet scratched my car while driving from the basement and never told me. Atleast he could have informed me.
