The breakfast was exceptional, with several fancy egg choices and a broad array of high quality fresh breads, pastries, and fruit.
We had booked a standard double which was advertised as 269 square feet. We were given room #7, which was about 195 square feet (we measured), and much of that was wasted space because of an especially poor layout. The bathroom was long and narrow, accounting for more than 60 square feet, and the entry way was an unuseable 20 square feet, with an odd stone sticking eight inches out of the wall, about 3 feet high. We complained that we had no room to put out our suitcases, but were told they were fully booked for one of the two nights and had no other place to put us. But they charged us for the bigger room we had booked. There were nooks where they could have installed shelves, but instead they used most of the closet, so there was only 5 inches of hanger space, which needed to use most of for our winter coats. The room was very hot because it was over the spa, and there was no A/C this time of year. There were two highly focused lights that shined brightly where one might read in bed, but the rest of the room was very dark. Our daughter had room #4, which was advertised as a small double with 200 square feet, but was only about two-thirds that size.
