The setting among the vineyard and fruit trees.

It was super tranquil and peaceful. The owners live on site with their children so a typical Italian feel. The pool was great to relax around. Plenty of parking and rooms felt private and spacious. The views where exceptional being surround by vineyards is just perfect with the perfect view of Etna. Breakfast was also great. Only 10 minutes away from nearest town and 40 minutes to north side of Etna.

The host is super friendly and welcoming. Also a fantastic cook! We had dinner at the property and it was authentic Sicilian food that tasted amazing! The area is beautiful with panoramic views including mount Etna and surrounding vineyards. The location is excellent! We had a great time at Il Taneceto and would recommend it to anyone looking for a more relaxing stay away from touristy areas. We hope to come back one day!

I chose this accommodation because of the amazing reviews, but didn't find much of the praise. The view of Etna I could only see from my tiny bathroom window, the room was a little worn, the grounds a little messy, the pool area not very inviting. I guess it had a certain rustic charm and the location in the countryside is really nice and peacefull. The host Giovanna is very nice and cooked me a beautifull vegan meal my first nigth.
I really missed coffee and tea making facilities. It cost money to rent a pool towel and it wasn't allowed to bring regular towels to the pool.
