It is a beautiful building in the most beautiful setting. The rapids behind it are spectacular when the dam gates open at 18.00.
The rooms are nice, but the bathrooms are just awful. They don’t need to follow the strict rules as the rest of the house and something needs to be done immediately. Beds are comfy, linens are clean but very dusty.

Rooms were very nice with beautiful detail, we loved our balcony. The sauna at the spa was nice. The whole hotel had a lot of character and we enjoyed the atmosphere very much. The rapids are spectacular.
We stayed on a Saturday so there was a bit of noise from the bar in the evening, but went to sleep anyway.

Not my first time there. Nice hotel to stay for 1-2 nights. Visited with kids, they were happy about the pool in the property. Food at the restorant for dinner was excellent. The breakfast was also very good. Comfortable room in the garden building was prepared for our family.
Sauna in the pool area was a little cold.
