Good location for our Cornish September holiday. Easy to find the property with clear access instructions via email. The villa had a well equipped kitchen/dining room/lounge and first floor bedrooms were comfortable. Property was clean.
Thought the property and cleanliness was of a good standard however did feel the site, St Merryn Park, itself was neglected and needed a bit of tlc in our honest opinion.

Nice location, unusual style of property. Well-equipped with everything we needed for an enjoyable stay. Very clean. Could fit two cars on drive if needed.
Everything was good but maybe a rug in the lounge would make it more homely.

This is the second time we stayed at Bay Retreat Villas. Last year we were in villa 20 - this year in 21. The location is good as it is close to all the good beaches and being in a cul de sac, the children could play outside. Nice large driveway and the property is a nice little house with comfortable bedrooms and reasonable size.
Our villa this year was badly in need of thorough cleaning and maintenance. In the bathroom, the extractor fan did not work, the shower broke midway through the day and there was mould and mildew around the bathroom. It wasn’t very nice to be frank. When I reported the faulty shower, the staff member I spoke to was very helpful and told me it would be fixed soon. It was fixed later that day but the replacement was another old mouldy shower head. At over £200 a night I thought this was pretty crap. The patio doors were also rotting and the stays to hold them open were broken. The villa had large cobwebs throughout and needed a thorough cleaning and perhaps refresh the paint work.
