The staff were awesome friendly and extremely helpful will definitely come back to stay when next in the area location was great close to the hospital and a maze of shopping was close by
Just a suggestion not a dislike
Maybe a couch instead of the single bed in the units so there is somewhere comfortable to sit instead of the beds

Location was good as I was heading to The Food Show that was on at the Auckland Showgrounds so not far to get there. Had parking. Room was comfortable. Good bed. Clean. Would definitely stay again if attending any events around the area.

I absolutely love the staff here at reception always so accommodating to me and my family! We are quite frequent stayers here at rayland when we travel to Auckland and we always check to stay here first! Great value for money , close to everything you need and only minute from the city centre! And again the staff are just amazing! Nice quite motel never any issues and always a lovely stay.
The only thing is that they could have extra pillows apart from that GREAT PLACE

Overall it's an okay place in a good location that will do you if you're staying for one night. It has all the basics, but everything is just okay, not great.
It's lots of small things that let the place down a bit - you can clearly tell it's old and in the unit there was paint missing and some cracks in the wood etc, which doesn't really bother me too much but you can tell it's from the 70s/80s. Light was leaking in through the front door so clearly that wouldn't be retaining heat well etc, easily solved by some door seal. The bed was okay, you could feel the springs but I think I slept okay in the end? They weren't poking you like some other beds do. All the furniture is basic but I'm okay with that, would be nice to have more TV Channels as none of the TVNZ stuff would show up (not that I love their programming anyway, but it would be nice). I don't think there's a fan in the bathroom, and in my unit there was no lock on the bathroom either, it looked like it had broken off. A small shelf in the shower would be helpful as well, as it only had a small soap tray. Also check in isn't till midnight as it says, it's only till 9pm which was originally why I booked the place as I wasn't sure when I was arriving, fortunately it all worked out though.
