The Hotel San Carlu is in a great location. It’s an easy walk to the city centre & the main attractions of Ajaccio. Our room was quiet & comfortable. We had breakfast & dinner on the rooftop restaurant. Both were delicious. There are plenty of good restaurants, bars & cafes nearby. The staff were friendly & helpful .

The location of the hotel, across the street from the Citadelle, entering the Old Town and close to the Port, make this from the get going a differentiated hotel.
The rooms were impecable, they had proper ammenities and the beds were very comfortable. Reception staff are very helpful and nice. Hotel parking solution, while limited in availability, is excellent and very comfortable. Rooftop offers as stunning view of Ajaccio which is really worth it, paired with a very nice bar.
Lower level rooms facing the back of the building are rather dark (no way around it..!). Breakfast could have more diversity of food for the charged price.
