Another Great stay.

Great location close to M20 and 30 mins from channel tunnel, friendly helpful staff, plenty of parking, large grounds ideal as hotel is dog friendly too. Rooms are a good size and beds comfortable. Breakfast fantastic. We will be back 👍👍.

Noise, very loud people on the terrace and banging of bedroom doors = disturbed sleep

Comfortable, enjoyable stay with good food, especially breakfast.

Friendly staff with a warm welcome on arrival. Room very comfortable. Good food. Excellent facilities.

The lift not being on the same level as reception as currently waiting a hip replacement and going up/down stairs difficult.

As with previous stay at the New Year, happy with Hotel and location

Always quiet, plenty of space all around the Hotel. Near motorway and Kent attractions Helpful staff, especially Steve on Reception. Useful Pool and Sauna. Staff very helpful with our Family re-union arrangements on the Saturday.

Paying more through booking.com than had we gone through the Hotel - will be more careful in the future.

The room was exceptionally warm with no air con, but a fan was provided which we had to use all night. The TV signal was temperamental and didn’t always give a clear picture on the screen

Staff very helpful and polite. Leisure was lovely and relaxing. Breakfast was a 9. The outside garden was peaceful very nice place

An ideal overnight stop en route to Le Shuttle.

Good parking for our motorcycle. Lovely view from the room. Extensive grounds for a walk. Pleasant evening meal. Excellent quality breakfast and very helpful and friendly staff.

Very good

The grounds are amazing - especially with a dog. Breakfast buffet was excellent. Friendly and obliging staff. Bed large and comfortable. Used as stop over.

No Aircon. Heat was unbearable. Not enough plug sockets in the room. Shower in a very narrow bath with shower curtain. Generally needs to be modernized and a lick of paint.

The service was amazing, the food was great, the location was stunning and the price was fantastic.

Superb

Absolutely great stay. I needed to check in early and was welcomed. The staff on reception were fantastic, very helpful. The breakfast is one of the best I've ever had, a lot of choice, everything cooked to perfection. Best hash browns. The facilities were brilliant. The room was comfortable.

Would of preferred a walk-in shower instead of a bath as it's a tight space. But nothing major.

i always stay here when i travel for business, the staff are so friendly and welcoming, facilities are great, food is always good, i especially enjoy the breakfast, lots of options

the only thing which is very small is to have a better range on the evening menu, but it is no big deal

Not worth it

Staff were polite and atteneded to our query, who have also accepted and resolved it.

Room was bad (Decor is worn out, chairs are worn out), no air conditioning, carpets are very old. It requires a lot of refurbishment. They can't advertise as a 4 start hotel. It would be best for booking.com to remove this hotel from your site.

Not great vibes

Comfortable bed Good location if you want to visit Leeds castle and there is a nice pub about 5 minutes down the road

The room didn't look like what we expected Quite different from pictures A lot of walking around to get to the room Very corporate vibe Breakfast was very average and limited Bar staff wasn't very friendly We went for a drink in the evening and it felt like they didn't want to serve us despite still being open. They then cleaned around us before we were done and turned the lights off for around 10 minutes, to the point where we felt rushed and uncomfortable finishing our drink so we left and then they said they were going to turn the lights on. There is a big pothole on the way to the exit of the carpark. No conditioner in the bathroom. The shampoo and shower gel pots were empty when we arrived.

Rude staff and dirty broken hotel rooms

The disgusting attitude of the staff, clearly staff need alot more training! Rosita from leisure was rude and called my mum unprofessional.. Funny that as my mum is not a staff member and doesn't need to be professional. Rosita did not inform us that there was an aerobics class on so the shallow end of the swimming pool was out of use. Well we had two children under 3 who are unable to swim and would not be confident nor would it be safe to allow them to swim in the deep end. Instead of telling us before we went in rosita decided that shouting at us from the side of the pool would be acceptable! When my mum and I tried to explain that we couldnt take the little ones into the deep end and that she should of told us before, (we would have waited until the class had finished otherwise) rosita started to call my mother unprofessional as we expressed some frustration as we had already been verbally abused by other members of staff. We then asked to speak to a manager as we felt that this behaviour from staff was unacceptable. A duty manager named Pravin approached us with absolutely no intention to listen, instead just told us to enjoy our swim and basically shut up as he didn't want other guests to hear what had happened. Well Pravin you need more training! You are by far the worst, and most unprofessional duty manager I have ever met. Disgusting how you treat your guests. The rooms are dirty And smell like sewege! The safe doesn't work and the TV is temperamental. The TV remotes dont work and half the lights work. Needs a good clean in the bathrooms as the wall tiles have brown and black grout instead of white. After all of this, I had no choice but to inform the receptionist poppy as we was very unhappy and actually felt like leaving. Poppy told me that she would inform a duty manager but this never happened, I told another receptionist on the morning shift who told me that her manager would contact me that day, but guess what? No contact.

Lovely stay!

The hotel pool and spa facilities were very good. Complimentary towels were a bonus. The grounds were lovely and selection at the restaurant were also good. Staff were all friendly and helpful and parking was easy. One big positive was how comfortable the mattresses were, definitely made for a good night's sleep!

Water to be provided in the room, or a cheaper alternative. £2.50 for a small can of water is excessive

Clean spacious bedrooms with very comfortable large bed. All communal area clean and fresh.

Poorly cooked breakfast, cold plates, shortage of some products. Staff need leadership. So poor was our experience we missed out Breakfast a third of our stay and once only experience for dinner was sufficient. We dined out.

Brilliant stay enjoyed our stay

Everything was clean bed very comfortable, brilliant breakfast. The gym was a bonus and swimming pool.

The bath was a bit too high to get in and out for me.

Overall a lovely stay and very convenient for the channel tunnel.

We were pleasantly surprised by the size of the grounds and enjoyed walking around them and seeing the peacock, geese and rabbits. We had a drink in the garden as it was a lovely evening.

Fan wasn’t very good in the bathroom so got very steamy.

beautiful grounds and spa treatments, but the hotel could do with a refurbishment as it’s a bit dated.

The spa treatments were lovely and the staff in both the spa and hotel were lovely and welcoming.

I couldn’t understand why there was carpet in the spa area by the king chairs when everything is wet and there was hair all over the carpet. There was also an issue with our room, we checked in late and was advised our family room for 4 was upgraded to a privilege room for 2 even thought we declined the upgrade. we were informed this was a system error and our family room was no longer available. Me and my husband had to sleep in separate rooms with each of our children which wasn’t a very family fun experience. They found us adjoining rooms the next day and refunded our first night but it wasn’t a great start to our stay.

It was very comfortable and the staff, especially the receptionist, were very welcoming and helpful

The noise from other guests outside my door late at night and very early in the morning. I think they were attending a function. I was tempted to ask to change rooms as they occupied the rooms either side and directly opposite.
