The breakfast was amazing. Location is great. Bed was comfortable.
I have stayed at this hotel twice before now but never in the "cottage" this is separate to the main hotel. It was clean and simple but felt like student digs. I would not wish to come back if staying in this part of the hotel. The room was very simple.

Such friendly staff. Free drinking water by check in. Stall running up stairs to make sure we got out the very small lift and opened the outside door. Lovely lounge. Lovely comfortable rooms. Good access for trains, buses, taxis. Site seeing and shopping. Good entertainment.
The accessable room had a step up shower. No hand grips. The shower seat was too big for the shower. The door didn't close. The carer had to mop the floor. Toilet not useful for severly disabled or those unable to stand. Just too low. The lift small but the overall facilities compensated with good food.

The hotel is in a central location for shoppiong and dining out. Secondly close to the coach and train station. The staff were very pleasant and well trained. The room had everything we needed for a 2 night stay and was very clean. We found the hotel to be good value for money and therefor recommended.
Although there is a lift to the bedrooms there are a few steps which may cause a poblem if someone has a disability.

Can do with a bit of modernising
Bathroom was quite worn and old fashioned shower curtains bath was very slim
So not quite comfortable
