Beautifully refurbished to a very unique and exclusive style

Booked for a last minute bit of R&R, Brownsover Hall could not have been better. A small issue with the wrong room was quickly and cheerfully resolved (and can happen when you're booking 3rd party!). There are so many cosy seating areas dotted throughout the building and outside too, as well as in the bedroom, and the place was beautifully decorated. Evening meal (seabass) was fantastic and the free drinks on arrival were a wonderfully inviting touch. 100% would love to return!

As another reviewer noted, the eggs at breakfast were not great, but everything else was good. Honourable mention to the nice thick bacon.

Breakfast was superb-freshly cooked and of a high standard- coffee was excellent which is unusual for hotels anywhere

no bitter or ale sold- not even in bottles and the hotel represents a very old English style- a local beer would be welcome.
