Comfortable bed, good-sized room, friendly staff and good value for money. We didn’t use the outdoor area as I don’t think it was open, but it was a lovely big space that would be great for sitting out and enjoying a pub meal.

It’s an older building and the hotel felt a little dated, which made some areas seem less clean than they perhaps were. It could definitely do with a bit of a refresh, as it feels like it has a lot of potential.

First impressions, smart looking, clean room. Nice looking furniture. Clean sheets & towels (no stains), bed & pillows were comfy. Free car park, view from room onto a field/football pitch, nice welcome at reception. Had a fridge in room. The price.

No plug sockets next to bed, toilet under rim dirty, no back on remote control, some damage to wallpaper & bathroom door had what looked like putty in the holes but not finished. No towel/mat for stepping out of the shower on, only 1 wall light worked in bedroom. Booked the room as stated it had a balcony. Was hoping to sit outside. Was actually a Juliet balcony. Should be made clear on website. Other hotels had specified. On sight restaurant although we didn't use it, in a nice location. Decent refreshments tray with biscuits + 2 cartons of still water.
