I had a room with bathroom in suite for myself in this well located hostel in Wroclaw's Stare Miasto, 5 minutes walk from Rynek. It is very large with a hall, the bathroom and the large room with two beds with their correspondent side tables, a sofa, a big table, chair & a very comfortable armchair. The furniture matched the building: Very early 20th century but well maintained and clean in a quiet area, even when on the ground floor there is a gastro-bar-cafe where a good breakfast is served. It is not noisy. The hostel has a shared kitchen and dining area, with a small cooker, microwave, kettle, etc. The gastro-cafe with candle lights night and day it's very romantic but it is also gloomy. Great jazzy music that matches with the ambience.
I spent 4 nights and it was OK for me but in general there is a dark, gloomy atmosphere that some people may find depressing. Room was quiet but the 1st night it rained a lot and the raindrops rattled on the ceiling above the staircase. It woke me up in the middle of the night thinking there was a leak in my room and it took me a while to fall sleep again.

Already reviewed this place but ended up staying twice in a row so here I am with another review. The fact I stayed twice probably says it all doesn’t it. Nice place.

Really nice place, love the decor and vibe of the main social room. Good utilities for cooking. Beds were comfy. Good bathroom. Good WiFi.
A bit noisey on a night and in the early hours. There was also a bit of a strange fella with an afro who I have been told lives there. He’s harmless but not exactly a positive addition to the experience.
