For sure I will always remember my stay, but not for reasons I expected. I had chosen the hotel because there are gluten free food options. Then on the sweets buffet I had noticed wrong labelings, sweets with loads of gluten to be marked as glutenfree. Luckily after my complaint to the actual chef it was adjusted.
Next I was "lucky" to be beside a room that was celebrating their engagement party with karaoke set and loud noise in the hallways. Only after complaining a couple of times it got a bit quieter at 2am.
To make matters even better next night I got two calls from the front desk in the middle of the night confirming about when I will check out and when I need my transfer to the airport. On two previous days I had confirmed twice my check out day and three times the day and time for the transfer to the airport.
Considering the nice location, the usual good service coming with this level of a hotel and my request for a quiet room... well it was a different stay than I had in mind.
Well, the story doesn't end here: One of the customer service agents pushed me very strongly to leave a good review of the hotel. I can only write my actual experience like always and I am not willing to lie for her so that all looks wonderful.
I prefer a different kind of unforgetable experience than the one I actually had.
