Lovely property and beautifully decorated.

The room was cozy and beautifully decorated.
We were never sure if we had a private toilet or not because it was out in the hallway. The host was not the most friendly upon check-ins. She only allows a 1.5 hour window for check-in. Take note of this when booking.

Excellent location just outside Bayeux and on our cycling route. Our room was outside in the garden and just so cute. Breakfast was excellent and we enjoyed Kenzo the cat’s company.

The location and cottage house were nice
The host communicated in an unprofessional and rude manner. When asked about breakfast, we strongly communicated that we would not make use of the option for breakfast. 9:30 in the morning, the host knocks on our door unnannounced accompanied with an unfriendly face and tone. She told us we wasted her breakfast ingredients and that it's "not normal" to do this. Whether guests make use of the breakfast option is entirely up to the guests. She proceeded to threathen a €20 fine for not eating the breakfast that we already paid for.
Additionally, we requested to shorten our stay by 1 day, which the host rejected for unknown reasons. When we were checking out we were told that it's again '"not normal" to leave earlier than the full time. We paid the full price so it's up to the guests what to do with their time.
In the end we settled things over text, but the whole experience with the staff was unpleasant and quite frankly rude. It's a shame because the location, facilities and price are great.
