From the moment we arrived at Merovigliosso, we felt genuinely welcomed. Alfredo and the Kostas went above and beyond to make our stay exceptional.
We were pleasantly surprised with an upgrade to a room with a balcony overlooking the breathtaking views of Santorini. The room was beautiful, clean, and made our stay even more memorable.
What truly sets this hotel apart is the incredible level of care and kindness from the staff. Before checking in, I was dealing with a problem involving another hotel reservation. kostas personally called Booking.com several times on my behalf and even arranged transportation for me to visit the other hotel in an effort to help me obtain a refund. That level of dedication is something I have never experienced before.
During our stay, my friend became ill, and Alfred even went to the pharmacy to get medication for her. Their compassion and willingness to help made us feel like family rather than guests.
To top it all off, they surprised us with thoughtful gifts at check-out, which was such a kind and memorable gesture.
If you’re looking for outstanding hospitality, beautiful accommodations, and a team that genuinely cares about their guests, I cannot recommend Merovigliosso enough. Thank you, Kostas and Alfred for making our trip so special. We highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Santorini. 100% recommended!

The location was absolutely perfect, with breathtaking views and easy access to everything I wanted to explore. The property was exceptionally clean, well maintained, and very comfortable throughout my stay. What truly made the experience unforgettable was the warmth and hospitality of the staff. They were genuinely kind, welcoming, attentive, and always willing to help with a smile. Their exceptional service made me feel valued and at home from the moment I arrived until I checked out.
Honestly, there was very little to dislike. Everything met or exceeded my expectations. If I had to mention one thing, it would simply be that my stay wasn’t long enough to fully enjoy this beautiful place.
