* The staff is very friendly and helpful! They helped me rent a car and made this process as easy as possible.
* The hotel has a beautiful beach and sunbathing area. The bar, the taste of the food there, the sunbeds — everything is just perfect!
* Near the hotel (a 5-minute walk), there is a restaurant with very delicious food.
* Near the hotel (a 15-minute walk), there is the beautiful town of Batsi — there are a bunch of restaurants, souvenir shops, grocery stores, and many picturesque places to walk around.
* The AC in the room works independently from the rest of the rooms, so you can manage the temperature yourself. It cools down the room in seconds. Love it! Many hotels have AC issues, but not Aneroussa.
* The hotel welcomed me with a handwritten letter, a bottle of wine, and water. Great gesture!
* I appreciate the silence of the hotel: no noise or overwhelming music. Chill and relaxing.
* Loooove the cats that live around the hotel ❤️
* The bathroom was a bit outdated: the shower was tiny, and water would go outside the shower even though the doors were closed tightly. Therefore, I had to wipe the floor with a towel every time I got out of the shower.
* The toilet was broken, so the flush button would work only if you pressed it at a particular angle and with a particular speed. Also, you can’t throw toilet paper into the toilet (it’s a rule across the whole island). However, the trash bin for the paper is located on the opposite side of the bathroom (it can’t be placed next to the toilet because there is no space for it). So you need to hold the used paper in your hand while using the toilet and then throw it into a far corner of the room.
* There were many dead mosquitoes on the walls and ceiling of my room. So they had been there since the previous guest, and they were not cleaned before or during my stay.
* There was no door hanger, so I couldn’t notify the staff that I didn’t need my room cleaned.
* I ran out of toilet paper twice during my 5-day stay. So maybe it would be a good idea to provide some additional rolls of toilet paper in the cabinet underneath the sink.
* The breakfast selection was quite limited. The hotel doesn’t have the equipment to keep the food warm, so the eggs (they have boiled, fried, and scrambled eggs) are always cold. They only had one type of milk, so if you’re lactose intolerant, that would be bad news for you. As for drinks, they had water, orange juice, and filtered coffee. Additionally, you could make yourself some tea or order coffee (cappuccino, espresso, etc.). Maybe I expected more: a wider range of juices, some iced tea, or other beverages.

The hotel and grounds are beautiful and the rooms very comfortable with fantastic views. The private beach was lovely. The staff are the best I have encountered anywhere. I cannot recommend this hotel highly enough.
A spa was advertised but not available which was disappointing although there was a very good massage studio in Batsi.
