Very accommodating pleasant hotel. I was able to book spontaneously during a kayak trip to get some rest and had the perfect relaxation.

The proprietor made me a coffee when I arrived and we had a nice chat. After unpacking I enjoyed a refreshing dip in the small but very clean swimming pool in the garden. The proprietor ensured that I was given extra towels. Both the hotel frontage and the inner courtyard were visually quite charming.
It was good to be able to leave my car in the basement garage. It was a quick free bus ride to reach the centre of town – free because I was provided with a permit for the use of public transport.
The room was very comfortable and clean. The breakfast was excellent, especially the vegan options.
It would have been good if they had told me about the lift when I arrived. After a long and tiring journey it was a huge effort for me to lug my heavy suitcase and other luggage up the one flight of stairs to my room. It wasn’t until the next morning that I was told about the lift and discovered that I could use it to wheel/carry my luggage directly from the first floor to the basement with access to the garage.
The lady on reception got irritated with me for not automatically understanding that ”Press the button” meant you needed to press the button for as long as it took, not only to call the lift but also to open the lift door. A little more patience with a first-time customer would have been welcome and maybe the openness to realize that the written instructions could have been clearer!

As a motorcyclist I booked this hotel for the secure underground garage which also had a lift up to my floor. The room & bathroom were large, clean and fresh. The breakfast was ample.

Lovely staff. Really quaint decor and beautiful gardens. Really nice view and balcony attached to the room. Super convenient to stay in before a morning flight. You can walk to the airport.
