This place and environment is really remarkable and beautiful! The bungalows and restaurant are lovely, everything is cleaned with exceptional care, and the service staff was overall amazing, so professional, accommodating and service oriented!

Remote, quite, very relaxed, close to wildlife, although the monkeys come a bit close for comfort sometimes 🙂. Excellent for diving and snorkelling around Menjangan Island 10 min boat ride away. Our dive instructor was excellent and took us to some great dive sites. The staff were very helpful, nothing too much trouble. I was pleasantly surprised at the quality and variety of food available considering the relative remoteness. The beachfront location of the restaurant was lovely.

The one negative was that the scuba equipment available at the dive centre appeared very poorly maintained. I realise that these are probably separate businesses but the quality of the dive centre reflects on the resort. The dive centre presents itself as a PADI 5 star dive centre but the equipment is certainly not at that level. BCD’s look tired and worn. The strap securing the air tank on mine was quite badly torn. I noticed a number of hoses on octopus’s covered with short outer hoses secured with zip ties. My partner had a leaking BCD inflation/deflation valve. This was swapped but the replacement was impossible for her to operate with one hand. A minor point but the wetsuits were in poor shape also. I flagged my concerns with the dive instructor who acknowledged my points and said he would take it up with management. I am separately communicating with them also.
