The old buildings are beautiful. We were just down the road in a more modern space but still a nice room.
I didn’t realise it was so spread out, and that we wouldn’t be in the lovely old buildings. Not the end of the world, but I wish I had realised and booked the right room.

We loved this hotel as it was right in the centre of Orosei, whilst feeling completely private. It was peaceful and the breakfast is incredible. If you want to get the rustic feel of Orosei whilst feeling like you're in a modern clean space, this is 100% the place to go.
The room was not as advertised which was a shame, so it was a bit of a disappointment upon arriving. Was very basic compared to what I thought we were investing in. The descriptions/pictures are a bit confusing, so you don't really know what you're booking...didn't kick up a fuss as price was decent but it definitely was an annoyance upon arriving.
Another thing was that the staff were generally ok, but most we encountered were not particularly friendly. I always think good service is important, but I wouldn't say the service/friendliness was quite there, which is a shame.

The breakfast was very good and the place where you eat it was very nice (the rooms are in separate buildings from the reception and breakfast, a short walk). The staff were very nice.
The cleaning was poor, we had a dirty glass for 2 days in a row, they just dry it and put it upside down pretending it was clean, I've called the reception 3 times about this matter and nothing was done, not even in the following day after cleaning the room, poor managment. There was a high window on our room where the light would come in and we couldn't sleep after 6 am, there was no way to cover it, maybe some eye cover could fix this for you. The TV command didn't work, not even with new batteries. There is no free water in the room, you have to pay 1.5€ per small bottle from mini-bar, the tap water is not drinkable. I would not recommend this place, I gave it a 6 because of the breakfast.
