It’s at a castle, fantastic views from our room, clean comfortable and modern . Breakfast was great, staff fantastic , if you stay there do the dinner it’s expensive but worth it. Grounds and castle were great

This place was a hidden gem. We loved the experience. The room was large, the bed was great and had a view over Dunedin. The bathroom floor was heated. The staff went out of their way to help us, they were all lovely. Having dinner in the castle was a great thing as it is a long and windy drive to anywhere else. And breakfast included was a bonus.
The food was tasty but did not arrive hot, so this was a bit disapointing

The castle is amazing. The grounds are stunning. Staying at the castle allows you to walk around the gardens at night and really enjoy the whole experience. Dinner in the castle was wonderful, good food and great setting. Staff did a great job.
The bed needs replacing, frame and mattress. Window latches make it impossible to leave windows open but also close blinds for the night.
