The host was very friendly and welcoming. The beds were super comfortable and the bathroom was very modern. The interior maintained its old fashioned charm, but had modern bathroom. It is in a beautiful neighbourhood and the metro stop to the centre is just outside the door. Although, we enjoyed the pleasant walk into town.

10 min bike ride from Scheveningen beach
Bakery right next door with several lunch options
Lovely breakfast with fresh strawberries, fresh orange juice, several types of bread, croissant, charcuterie, choco, ham, cheese,..yoghurt. Very tasty
No airconditioning,
WE WERE NOT INFORMED ABOUT THE FACT THERE WERE ROADWORKS RIGHT IN FRONT OF THE HOTEL
WE GOT WAKEN UP AT 6H30 BY THE PREPARATION NOISE AND AT 7H00 THEY STARTED SCRAPING CONCRETE AND THE NOISE WAS HORRIBLE. OUR ROOM EVEN TREMBLED. IF I WOULD HAVE KNOW THIS BEFOREHAND I WOULD NOT HAVE BOOKED THIS HOTEL AND I DONT APPRECIATE IT AT ALL WE WERENT TOLD THIS BEFOREHAND
