Great location overlooking Parker’s Piece. Easy access. Clean. Large, well equipped room with sink, water, tea/coffee making facilities, sofa & fan. I was worried about noise from pub next door but it was fine.
As usual in Cambridge no parking. Surrounding roads are 4 hours max. Queen Anne car park isn’t too far but I’m dreading cost for 24 hours.
Mattress in room 4 could do with replacing as I could feel the springs or get a topper.
The key situation makes me a bit uncomfortable as a women travelling alone. Your name is written on a list with room number & key left on side so other guests can see who is in what room and access your key prior to your arrival. I would prefer notification of room number by email and a key safe.

This guest house is in a great location, and it's very suitable for people travelling for work, or who expect to be out and about all day. The bed was also comfortable and there were a good number of mirrors and sufficient hanging space for clothes. It was easy to check in and out.
In places the room felt a little bit in need of a refresh, and some of the communal areas weren't as clean or well maintained as they could have been. While it was easy to check in, I think lock boxes for keys would be more secure.
