Disappointment

- Close to a place I need to visit

- Receptionist attitude: very rude - Payment method: you have to pay in full before you stay even though u show your ID/Passport. - Room description vs reality: not even close to the displaying photos. - Old room and equipments (the mini fridge sounded like it could explode anytime). - Insects run around at night.

I love my stay at Hanoi EMOTION HOTEL.

Staff very helpful. Very friendly. Great people...so blessed. Made us so grateful. Felt at home...with them . Highly recommended to friends and to visit Hanoi again.

Air con took a long time to cool down the room. Bedroom can be cleaner...but maybe it's the furniture ?

Not nice at all

They refunded us the money with no issues when we left early

Never have I ever had such a bad experience with a hotel. The room that we booked was called a ‘King Suite’ & yes it’s very big and spacious but extremely run down. There is dust everywhere, there are markings all over the walls, the bed is the hardest piece of concrete I’ve ever slept on. The Wi-Fi does not work whatsoever. The room isn’t soundproof in any means, we were on the 8th floor and heard every conversation on the street. The bathroom ceiling isn’t even finished or joined together, the furniture and decor is ancient. This is not good value for money in the slightest. 6am we were woken up by the restaurant above us setting up for breakfast and moving tables, VERY LOUD! The area is awful, nothing around. I advise anyone to give this hotel a miss as it’s not a pleasant experience, so much so, we had 5 nights booked here & we’ve only stayed for one & booked elsewhere. Couldn’t wait to leave!!! No money in the world could get me to sleep here another night.

Exceptional

Nice, comfortable rooms, staff is very friendly and helpful. Situated close to the centre and convenient to get wherever you want. It's already second time I am staying in this hotel and I am quite satisfied with the hospitality.

I like the location and the staffs. They are very friendly, helpful and kind.

The aircon was not working in room 505. And the bed is a little too hard.

The area was a little run down but never felt unsafe but other then that was good as it was central too other more tourist areas

Disappointing

The shower was strong. The bathroom was big and clean. The air conditioner was cold. The staff was helpful and always doing their best to accommodate.

Bed sheets and pillows smelled like body sweat even after the room was cleaned. Wifi was very slow. In booking.com it says .1mi from Crown Poker Club but it was farther, over 1km. Incorrect info. Not good breakfast selection. Property is not kept in good condition, seems old and run down.

Pleasant

Room is super dusty. Glass top at mini bar, head board and other surface in room are covered with a layer of dust. Floor feels sticky. Room condition need upgrading. Stayed in room 301. There is a gap on the door frame when door is closed. Very bad sound proofing. Staff are generally friendly except 1 lady receptionist. She questioned me why am I asking for 1 extra pillow when I requested for 1 more for my daughter. After 4 days of requesting (daily), I was finally given 1 on the 5th day. Will not be back.
