Lovely setting, big room, loved the outdoor shower. The gardens were beautiful and the pool was great, we particularly liked lounging on the overhanging day bed in the shade. The food was good and the staff were lovely.
WiFi was not working properly in the room.

This is the second time we were at the Medana Resort. After 15 years we decided to return and stayed there two weeks. We were not disappointed. The lush garden is mantained with extreme care. The ambience is quiet and familiar with helpfull staff starting from the general manager that reserved us a marvellous treatment. The structure has got a good and reasonable priced restaurant and it is a little bit isolated but in walking distance to a marine harbour and a other few restaurants. Good and cheap taxi service let you go to Bangsal Port (15 minutes) where you can board all the ferry to the Gili Island and Bali. We booked a day tour to the waterfalls as well. The swimming pool is well kept with daily and weekly mandatory maintanence.
We liked everything., Naturally is not a party place but it is great if you are looking for a romantic and peaceful staying.

Medana surpassed our expectations as the photos do not do it justice!
The bungalows are furnished in handmade Indonesia furniture with a bonkers sandstone bath, which is so fun! The gardens are gorgeous & the pool is huge. It's a peaceful location but very welcoming to our family. Staff are excellent, as is the food. I would happily return.
