We booked 2 rooms in Hotel Inkai. Neither rooms had natural light and had windows into the central area of the hotel with the potential to be noisy from other people in the hotel but were actually fine when we stayed. They were simple rooms with hot powerful showers. We were given a warm welcome and excellent breakfasts. Breakfasts were normally quite rushed as our day tours tended to have early starts but fortunately we were one of the later pick ups. We were located round the corner from a street full of restaurants including some excellent steak restaurants.

Solo cuatro plazas de estacionamiento en la puerta, pero se consigue lugar para estacionar.

Yes, but. Nice decor and friendly staff. Beds are comfortable, and enough closet space to spread out over a couple of days. There's an open-air deck on the top floor with a couple of hot tubs. As a solo traveler, I wasn't tempted; but that's a definite selling point for a romantic getaway. Complimentary breakfast included, with a wide selection usually not found in Argentina. Meaning, you are not limited to medialunas exclusively. Despite the negatives (see below) this was a solid choice at this price point, and I rebooked for two more days on my way up north.
The rooms are centered around two inner courtyards on two levels. This gives the place a warm hacienda feel, but it can get noisy. In the lowest category, the only window will face one of those courtyards or the steps to the upper levels. If you get unlucky, like I did on my first night, you'll have members of a business convention camping outside your room practicing their sales pitch until midnight. If you opt for a higher-category room, you'll have a view of the street with heavy traffic until roughly 10 pm. It's doable for a couple of days, but you won't have complete privacy either way.

Good location, breakfast not bad, good interior in the halls, good shower (1 of the 2 that we had in the room :)
The 4-bed family room was the tiniest that we've ever, it has 2 showers BUT extremely little space and air to breathe. We stayed for 1 night and it was OK, but if we had to stay longer, i would have changed the hotel immediately as i saw the room. The room needed renovation, weirdly enough the halls in the hotel are in much better shape than the room. There are definitely better options in Salta.
