Lovely room facing east to make the most of the late August morning sun on the private balcony. View from the room across Launceston from the hotels elevated location very nice and its in a great location walking distance to Cataract Gorge and the river. Loved staying in an old building with history and character.
Housekeeping wanting to make up my room at 8.30am when I was taking the morning slowly and still enjoying the room! The lift was out of order so had to carry luggage up to the second floor.

Location
No lift which we were told has NOT worked for 6 MONTHS and the ground floor has no available rooms . It’s work in progress in a beautiful building. Also , hard to find.
