If you want tranquility, this place has it in spades. It is off the beaten track and wonderfully rustic. The owners were attentive, welcoming and friendly. We were invited to sit in the garden at sunset and watch the emerging stars and Milky Way - zero light pollution and learn a little of the local wildlife.
The bedroom and en-suite facilities were comfortable. There was a charge of €10 for our dog.
Breakfast had plenty to choose from at €6 each.
Nothing. Though I feel it important to point out that this is not a hotel. We hadn’t realised that dinner was on a pre-order basis, which we hadn’t done. The nearest restaurants are in Trujillo about 12km away and we’d already been on the road all day. However, I think Francisco took pity on us and his mother rustled us up a very welcome and satisfying meal. For which we were most grateful.

Heerlijk geslapen in een rustige omgeving. Prima bedden, aardige host en prima ontbijt. Fijn dat de motoren op het eigen terrein konden staan.

Prachtige locatie voor natuurliefhebbers. Geweldig uitzicht op de steppes, volop leuke vogels. Extra pluspunt is dat de eigenaar zelf ook actief met de telescoop naar vogels zoekt en ze graag toont aan zijn gasten.
Lekker en uitgebreid ontbijt. Comfortabele kamers.
Het avondmaal was nogal sober.
