Nice dar, with the characteristic local brickwork. The room was spacious, with a nice design. Nice toiletries, they even had bathrobes in the room. A kettle in the room.
We couldn't turn on the aircon heating at first, staff came to show us (it worked after a while) and they also gave us an additional heater just in case. So it was warm in the room.
For parking, we just parked our car on the street in front of the hotel (for free).
The shower had inconvenient doors and little light, and the water was not hot.
Breakfast was ok but we felt that it could be better for the price.

The location is great, close to amenities and to the Medina. The hosts were very helpful. Breakfast was great. We booked two different rooms due to lack of availability, the first was a suite, very beautiful and spacious. The next day, we moved to a double room which was equally beautiful but slightly smaller. We loved both rooms and the staff were so helpful and helped us move our luggage as soon as the second room was made available.
Both rooms were very clean and well decorated. The house has a real charm and we will be back again. The area is super safe, we went out at night and we had no issue. We had a great time, we highly recommend staying in Dar Said Beya to explore the charming city of Tozeur, visiting Tameghza falls, the ghost city of shebika and the fall, the oasis around and of course Mos Espa: Star Wars movie site.

Dar Saida Beya is a beautiful guesthouse conveniently located in the centre of town. You can easily explore the area by foot. It is clean and well-maintained and some of the rooms are good-sized and comfortable. Communication with the guesthouse is also good and timely.
Really recommend to work on customer service. when we arrived, we were asked to fill in the police register form immediately (without being given the chance to drop our stuff in the room first, as we had asked). Then, and as we were still putting our things into the room, we were asked to pay the bill. Made us feel very uncomfortable. The room we were given was very small (half the size of the second room) but almost at the same price. The dinner was very expensive (in comparison to what a dinner usually costs in comparable establishments) and the portions really very small. The breakfast choice was also limited. Very dissapointing for a place that has good reviews - we expected more. we hope that they will improve things in the future.
