Awesome super stay and host

The host is superb. They are the best host i ever met. Kitchen is also big with all the facilities. I really enjoyed staying in zakopane.

Good location, but missing advertised services and unwelcoming communication overshadowed the stay

Good location close to the ski slopes, restaurants, shops, centre of Zakopane and a thermal bath within walking distance. The property was also warm and quiet since there weren’t many guests.

We chose this guesthouse mainly because breakfast was advertised as included and served from 8:00–10:00, which suited our skiing plans. Unfortunately, this was misleading. On arrival, breakfast was not available as described, and communication around it was inconsistent. We were offered alternatives that did not materialize and were asked to adjust plans despite the listing clearly stating breakfast from 8:00. A refund for the missed breakfast was eventually provided, but only after repeated follow-ups. When breakfast was finally served on the other 2 days of our stay, it was £9.50 per person per day (as seen when booked) but was not a buffet as advertised/worth the expensive price - I would recommend cooking your own breakfast. The room was generally okay, but there were several issues. Initially only face towels were provided; after asking, we did receive proper bath towels. In the bathroom there was only hand soap, which the host said should be used as body wash and shampoo, and we never received shower gel despite requesting it. There was some mold in the bedroom, no duvet covers, and the host was only present on site per request to sort out the above issues. Communication was mainly done through WhatsApp. Sadly, there was also no explanation of how the property works, no walkthrough, and no guidance on kitchen use or how to reach the host if needed. Communication often felt dismissive and at times rude/ discriminatory.

Great value for money!

A very nice place to stay, with a tremendous view of the Tatra Mountains from the balcony. The room had a small, but modern bathroom with a shower, sink and toilet, other than that I thought it was great value for money! It looks to be an excellent location in terms of public transport. The bus station is located a short walk from the house and so is the train station which is currently closed for building/refurbishment work. We arrived by train and were let off a few blocks away (something to bear in mind). In terms of things in the area, I highly recommend paying Zakopiański Bar a visit, great food at very reasonable prices and Aqua Park Zakopane, which is a short walk away and has an outdoor pool with a stunning view of the Tatra mountains. The town centre is around a 15 to 20 minute walk away. Overall, very satisfied!

I wish there would have been more plug sockets, and maybe a bedside lamp
