Location and parking was perfect. It was roomy for 4 people and liked the two bathrooms. Beds were comfy and big windows let in lots of light. Cafes just next door and both were open sat/sun for morning coffee or breakfast.
It was an older apartment with a few worn out pieces of furniture however the beds were comfy. Needed to request two more dining chairs and glasses which came straight away, helpful staff.

It won't be everyone's taste but I love the space, homeliness, being able to open the windows - I love that the lights are mostly warm in colour not blazing flouro and that there are bedside lamps that aren't too bright.
The pillows are reasonably firm, there are spare blankets in the cupboard for those of us who need a bit more weight on the bed, the table is a good size, there is a full-size fridge freezer, decent wardrobe and even chest of drawers for if you're staying longer. The location is also great - a bit further down towards parliament but still an easy walk back up town to things like the library and Cuba St etc. There's a good sized nonstick pan for cooking so i didn't end up having to scour it out afterwards as you sometimes can if the equipment is in poor shape. The staff are friendly and accommodating, the shower pressure is good. The curtains are good, keep out all the city lights at night and it's solid as anything so no noise from neighbours.
I think the bed might be a bit soft for me, I have an horrendous sore lower back this morning. The mugs and breakfast bowls are a bit sad and small, we'd have to use a saucepan if had our own cereals :)
It's a bit worn around the edges which is fine for me but might not suit others. Some of the power sockets didn't work for example, the carpet is old and the couch a bit worn. That's not a bother for me, it keeps it nicely in my price range but worth knowing if you prefer the polish.

The apartment was large and spacious but quite dated in finishes and furnishings. Very limited cutlery, glasses and plates etc provided. I only had one fork - lucky there was only one of me. For work purposes it was in an ideal location although very little was open at night time nearby for dining. The towels were changed daily although I did have to ask to have the bed linen changed and the floor vacuumed after one week as it was not done. Full servicing is only done once per week which ideally for long stays of a month like this one, a little more frequently would be appreciated. I did need to extend for an additional two weeks which was accommodated for.
The room could do with a freshen up. Dated furnishings, bathroom had water damage around bottom of cabinetry. Heating does not seem to meet the "Healthy Homes' regulations but after leaving the coil heater on continuously it heated the room ok.
