Doveva essere solo una tappa tecnica nel nostro viaggio in auto tra Salento e Medellin e invece è stata una magnifica sorpresa! Le stanze sono molto spaziose e il letto è comodissimo. La colazione nulla di chè, ma ci sono due ristoranti la sera che non sono male. La grande sorpresa è stato però l'eco-parco che circonda l'hotel, assolutamente imperdibile. Con due ore di passeggiata guidata abbiamo scoperto molte varietà di orchidee, abbiamo visto tantissimi colibrì, un giardino giapponese in alta quota (dono della delegazione giapponese durante una visita in colombia) e c'è anche una casa delle farfalle. Insomma sembra di dormire in mezzo alla foresta nebulosa e questo da solo vale il vaiggio.

Un cadre naturel très joli mais il faut prendre un tour guidé pour se promener dans l’ensemble du parc.

This place was quite costly and we were excited about birding the property. All the pictures of the hummingbirds is what made us book here. Unfortunately, that didn't work out.
We were all ready for the trails and doing some birdwatching/photography. However, we were locked out of the trails and in order to have access we had to wait until the time when birds are not as active (mid-day). No trail access for the dawn chorus. And then, we were asked to pay on top of that. "For our safety" - we found that a bit insulting. We only booked overnight and were off to the next place at 6:30am so this place was a dud for someone who likes nature. We only could walk around the buildings from dawn til 6:30am since ever trail was gated up. We left to better birding without breakfast and feeling like we wasted a lot of money.
